The annual ceremony was held at Freedom Memorial Park in downtown Fayetteville on Memorial Day.

Chapter President Richard Underwood assisted by Chapter 1st Vice President George Bond presented the memorial wreath at the Global War on Terror monument, a memorial honoring our brave military men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the global fight against terrorism since 9/11.

Fayetteville Council woman Kathy Jensen read the Mayor’s proclamation.

Retired US Army Major General William Kirkland was the featured speaker for the event.

Several chapter members paid their respects to our fallen comrades by their presence at the ceremony.
