President Rich Underwood led the assembly in the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag, and Chaplain Greg Williamson followed with the invocation.

President Underwood introduced new chapter member COL (Ret) Eddie Rosado and welcomed him to the chapter.

Following a buffet brunch Rich introduced John Chandler representing the National Sojourners and presented him with a $1,200 donation to sponsor two high school students for attendance at the Spirit of America Leadership Conference at Valley Force, PA. in July 2022.

The main event, however, was the presentation of the 2021 Robert F. DeMeter Chapter Service Award to Bruce T. Brown for distinguished service and contributions to the chapter spanning a period of 9 years.

Following the awards ceremony, President Underwood presented the “State of the Chapter” report covering CY 2021. A copy of this report is posted in the “Document” section of this website.

Finally, Jim Fleming, provided some light entertainment by reciting an essay he wrote, entitled “The Winter of My Life” which was enjoyed by all.

Chaplain Williamson delivered the benediction and the meeting adjourned.
