The first ever chapter outing at the new baseball stadium in downtown Fayetteville went well despite the extreme hot weather.

Twenty-nine chapter members and their guests attended the ball game held in the new Segra Stadium to watch the Fayetteville Woodpeckers defeat the Potomac Nationals 3-1. It was an exciting contest and everyone had a grand time.

A picnic buffet was part of the fare and it included hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and soft drinks.

Our chapter was recognized on the stadium scoreboard along with other groups attending the ball game.
