The annual trip to Myrtle Beach was again a great event. Chapter members and their guests departed Fort Bragg by motor coach at 0830 hours and arrived at North Myrtle Beach in time for lunch at the K&W Cafeteria.

After lunch, the group proceeded to the Alabama Theater to enjoy a matinee performance of their annual Christmas Show, and it was a great show.

Following the show, it was off to the Chestnut Hill Restaurant for cocktails, dinner and great camaraderie. As usual, we received a warm welcome from the restaurant staff and they went out of their way to cater to our every request.

The bus ride back to Fort Bragg was anything but quiet, with Tim Atkinson and Maria Chavez leading everyone in singing Christmas carols and other songs, accompanied by Gisela Kilman on harmonica. It was a fitting culmination to a fun day.
