Newly elected officers President Juan Chavez, 1st Vice President Art Rodriguez, 2nd Vice President George Blanc, 3rd Vice President Bill Dadek, Treasurer Ed Thomas and Secretry Don Gersh were sworn in for another 2-year term by Barry Wright, MOAA's Director of Council and Chapter Affairs at an installation ceremony attended by 80 chapter members and guests at the Fort Bragg Club.

Special guests in attendance included: LTG Joseph Anderson, CG, XVIII Airborne Corps; Jeri Graham, President, North Carolina Council of Chapters; and, Drew Brooks, Military Editor, Fayetteville Observer.

The Color Guard was provided by the Air Force JROTC from E.E. Smith HS; Casey Banander sang the national anthem and provided dinner music; and the Brass Quintet, The Army Ground Forces Band performed a Patriotic Musical Salute. Continued in Part II.
