It was great to see two of our most seasoned and respected members of the chapter in attendance, David Frank , 98, our only remaining charter member was accompanied by his son Chris; and, Harry Meinhardt back on his feet after a recent bout with pneumonia accompanied by his wife Mary.

New members LTC (Ret) Tom Donnelly and wife Maxine; and, Chaplain (Major) Ron Webb were introduced. Ron delivered his first invocation and benediction at this event.

Tammy Beshlin was awarded a certificate of appreciation and a chapter coin in recognition of her extraordinary contributions as Tournament Director for this year’s fund raising golf tournament which netted a record $14,000 for our ROTC scholarship fund.

Our featured speaker was BG Hugh Van Roosen, Deputy Commanding General, US Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) who delivered an interesting and educational presentation on the African country of Liberia and his recent experiences there as the Chief of Staff to the UN Mission to that country.
