MOAA leadership medals and certificates for outstanding leadership were presented by LTC (Ret) Marty Williams, 3rd Vice President for ROTC Affairs, to four exemplary senior ROTC cadets. The four cadets were (left to right): Josh Alonzo, Fayetteville State University; James H. Browning, Campbell University; Cody A. Erickson, UNC Pembroke; and, Matthew G. Pemberton, Methodist University.

The presentation took place at a Fort Bragg training area at the conclusion of FTX Trailblazer which is an annual exercise in which the cadets learn and practice various soldiering skills. Approximately 193 cadets from the four schools represented by the awardees participated in the training exercise.
